Pastel is the ideal medium to portray the texture and softness of animal fur, and all you need do is provide a photograph for me to work from.

The photograph will be returned with the commission on completion.

A pet portrait is an ideal gift for a friend/loved one, or you could have your own pet’s portrait commissioned. Or maybe you would like to bring your wildlife holiday photos to life? Glance through my gallery of animal art and see how your favourite animals could be immortalised in pastel.

I will again be at Wisbech Rose Fair Saturday 4th July 2009 and also at the Natural World Art Group exhibition at Banham Zoo in June/July, as well as my first solo exhibition at the Angles Theatre 4-30 October 2009. My work is also on display in VetSavers, Old Market, Wisbech and was in the Fenland Citizen, and the Angles Christmas exhibition 2008.

Gift vouchers are available for the recipient to spend as they wish (an e-mailed printable voucher is also a good idea if you have left it too late for a painting to be completed).

Paintings are completed using quality materials, but pastel is fragile and needs framing under glass with a mount placed between the painting and the glass. As with any paintings they are best hung away from bright sunshine to avoid unnecessary fading, but should last for many years if looked after properly.
